Read MoreI wish no one on the planet smoked. It’s such a disgusting, unhealthy, polluting habit, that is killing too many people, just so the tobacco company executives, can pay for their jet fuel with the profits. People have to really want to quit to actually stop smoking. Maybe the tobacco companies should have to pay to distribute one copy of this book to be handed out with each pack of cigarettes, chew can and vape device sold. So you buy a pack of cigarettes, can of chew or a vape and you get a free copy of this book. If you smoke a pack a day then after a month you would have 30 copies of this book. Maybe that many copies of the book lying around the house would be enough alone for people to stop smoking. A lot of the books would probably end up in the trash, but after a while I think all the people would understand that we care about them and want them to live a long healthy life and be around with us. Just a thought. Thanks for reviewing this book.

I have never been addicted to smoking, but I have one friend in particular who really and truly is. She says that she wants to quit, but won’t take advice from anyone, professionals included. Maybe this will help me help. Thanks!

Nicotine is a highly addictive substance. While people know the detrimental effects of smoking, they still go on with the practice, some doctors for instance. The book seems to offers insightful anecdotes worth checking out.

While I’ve never been addicted to smoking, I know people who have struggled with it and want to quit, but find it challenging. I think that a book on this topic could be helpful for them. The book’s anecdotal stories would probably be more impactful for some people than others, but the practical coping strategies and advice to reach out to people who can offer support would be great for anyone looking to quit smoking.

Great review! I used to smoke; I know, I hang my head in shame!😅 I liked it so much too. I tried to quit many times. I stopped when I decided to have children and never went back. As the author said, motivation plays a significant role, indeed.
